Thirst Class Ale Update!

It’s time for a bit of an update as we have some great events coming up over the next few weeks!

Stockport Beer Week logo

Stockport Beer Week
Running from 21st September to 1st October this is eleven days packed full of beer events. Check out the website for event listings and make sure you stick a circle around our Meet The Brewer and Tap Takeover at The Petersgate Tap on Tuesday 26th at 8:30pm!

Hopfordian IPA Pump Clip

We’ve also been asked to brew a new beer for the week which we’ve called Hopfordian IPA.  It’s a hoppy IPA full of Cascade and Simcoe hops – weighing in at 6% this is a proper IPA and guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser! Watch out for it in and around Stockport during the beer week.

Independent Manchester Beer Convention
Thursday 28th September – Sunday 1st October
We’re delighted once again to have been invited to bring our beers to IMBC – one of the standout events in the UK beer calendar. We’ll be there at all sessions on the Thursday and Friday and will be bringing some great beers along (info to follow). If you’re going along make sure you pop by to say hello!

Independent Salford Beer Festival
19th – 21st October
Another pinnacle of the UK beer calendar is the Independent Salford Beer Festival. It was in danger of not happening this year, but thankfully the organiser had a change of heart and this promises to be one of the best festivals yet! A showcase for brand new beers, we’ll be bringing along the never-before-seen Parkin Porter – a 4.8% porter with bags of flavour from added Ginger and Treacle – like the cake! See you there.

That’s all for now – keep following on Twitter and Facebook to keep abreast of our brewing adventures!

Barleyhops Meet The Brewer – Thursday 6th April

In just over a week, on Thursday 6th April, we’ll be heading over to Barleyhops in Congleton for a Meet The Brewer event.  We’ll be bringing beers to taste and I’ll be there to talk about the brewery, the beers and to answer your questions.

Tickets are just £10 and include three pints and a cheeseboard!  If you’d like to come along please get in touch with Paul on or call 07810525138.

Hopefully see you there!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all our friends, customers and fellow beer drinkers!

2016 has been an awesome year for us and has seen us expand from part time brewing on our small two barrel kit, supplying small amounts of beer to a few local outlets, to brewing full time on our new ten barrel plant allowing us to brew a lot more beer and send casks, kegs and bottles further afield!I’d like to thank everybody who’s supported us – we’re so lucky to have a great following of beer lovers! We’re very excited about getting stuck into brewing more exciting beers next year.

See you all in 2017!
