Core Beers

Here are details of our core beers.  Due to our capacity it’s impossible for us to have all these beers available at all times so please check with us for current availability!

Green Bullet Pale Ale – 4.8%
Currently available in Bottle
A traditional style English Pale Ale brewed with a fantastic New Zealand hop; Green Bullet, which is an earthy hop imparting floral flavours to this light coloured beer.

Stocky Oatmeal Stout – 4.7%
Currently available in Bottle
Brewed with nine different malts giving a smooth profile with chocolate and coffee notes.  Full of flavour and a pleasure on the palate.

Hoppy Couple IPA – 6.2%
Currently available in Bottle & KeyKeg.
Our Twin-Hop series.  When we brew this beer we go foraging in our hop store and find the two hops we  think will complement each other well.  We use the same malt, yeast and water profile to ensure only the hop flavours change each time.

American Brown Ale – 5.6%

A Brown Ale brewed to the American style with an abundance of Citra, Cascade and Columbus hops delivering a hoppy ale with a pronounced roasted maltiness.  Voted third best dark beer at Bolton CAMRA Beer Festival 2016.

New Zealand Pale Ale – 4.4%
Currently available in KeyKeg & Bottle
A session Pale Ale brewed with a healthy dose of Rakau and Wai-iti hops from New Zealand.  A very light and hoppy moreish beer with great hoppy aroma and flavour.

Any Porter In A Storm – 4.8%

A traditional English Porter. Almost black in colour with intense malty and treacle aroma this porter is sweet with notes of chocolate, liquorice and toffee.

    1. Hi Barbara, thanks for getting in touch! Heaton Hops on School Lane in Heaton Chapel usually have a good range of our bottles, and often have something on tap to drink inside too. Also Bottle in the indoor market in Stockport or Browtons in Ashton are quite close and usually stock our beers.

Hope you find some and enjoy them – please let us know how you get on 🙂
